Lime Cream Cheese Pound Cake

3 & 1/2 cups all purpose flour

3 cups of sugar

8 eggs

1 brick of cream cheese (full fat)

3 sticks of butter

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp vanilla

Zest of 2 limes

Juice of 4 limes


Combine all ingredients and pour into a prepared loaf or Bundt pan.


Start in a cold oven-meaning put the cake in the oven and then bake at 325 for about 1.5 hours. Check the inside of pound cake with toothpicks. Toothpicks should come out clean if cake is done.


Once done allow to cool.


Part 2:

1 cup powdered sugar

1/3 cup of lime juice

mix together and allow to sit until cake is done.


Pour sugar and lime mixture over partially cooled caked and allow to sit and soak in.


Cut and enjoy!
