Sweet Southern Charm-Cream Cheese Pound Cake

if y’all don’t know about this one, you need to know about this recipe. This is my go to dessert for any occasion. It pairs well with any type of cuisine. Just add some sliced fruit and whipped cream and friend you are doing the most! This is that real extra pound cake that tastes like a million bucks and goes on like a million pounds!
Ms. Haley’s Cream Cheese Pound Cake
3 sticks of UNSALTED BUTTER
1- 8oz package of cream cheese
3 cups of sugar
6 large eggs
3 cups of ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
⅛ teaspoon of salt
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Use an electric mixer to mix both butter and cream cheese until creamy.
Gradually add sugar and beat for 5 minutes, then add eggs one at a time, allowing each to incorporate before adding more. Stir in vanilla.
Sift flour and salt and add gradually to the mixer, beating until well blended.
Pour batter into a well-greased and floured bundt pan or tube cake pan or spray with Baker’s Joy.
Bake cake at 325° for an hour and 30 minutes, or until a toothpick can be removed cleanly.
Place pan on a wire rack and cool for 15 minutes, then remove the cake from the pan and complete cooling on the wire rack.
